Here it is folks, the recipe for Ron Stoppable's favorite food: nacos. As I mentioned in this post, we sampled this delicous nacho/taco cross in Idaho thanks to my brother, Jon, an avid Kim Possible fan. The recipe has undergone extensive testing in the Jon and Cherie Hoeger household.
Naco Recipe
Main Ingredients:
tortillas (we prefer the Costco bake-them-yourself ones)
refried beans (the ones that come with chilies and tomatoes are the best)
tortilla chips
ground beef cooked with taco seasoning (McCormick is a must)
nacho cheese (the Tostitos Salsa con Queso is the best)
Toppings:
grated cheese
lettuce (if you're a rabbit), diced
tomatoes, diced
diced green chilies (the ones in a little can)
green onions, diced
avocados, diced
sour cream
guacamole
Add a little milk or water to the refried beans and heat them on low in a sauce pan to make them creamier and warm (restaurant style). Heat the nacho cheese in another sauce pan on low heat. (Substituting grated cheese for nacho cheese is not an option. The nacho cheese is required, and a generous helping is encouraged!)
Begin heating a large frying pan for the tortillas and then place all the items in an assembly line in the order listed. Cook the tortillas fresh and take them straight from the pan, to your plate to the assembly line. Get a small layer of refried beans (kinda like sauce on a pizza), add a small pile of chips (some people break their chips a little, i like big crunchy messy ones), spoon the taco meat over the chips and smother in nacho cheese. Finally add your choice of combination of the available toppings. Fold up the sides of the naco at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock and dig in!
