Disneyland Advice?

We're planning a trip this summer to the most magical place on Earth. We took Kate and Danny two years ago, driving there the day Danny turned 1 and driving back the day Kate turned 3. We wanted to make the trip again while the kids are still carried away by all the magic, and excited to meet the real Mickey and Pluto and princesses. Any words of advice for experiencing Disneyland at its finest?

    Get the unoffical guide to disneyland book. it is a must for any family going to disneyland with young kids. I swear by this book after going to disneyland. It really made our trip so much more organized. GET IT!!

    Just make sure you work the "Fast Pass" system. They've had it for a while, so I'm sure you know of it.

    My advice is just to enjoy each moment and not try to rush around and see everything... you might feel like if you miss something you didn't get your money's worth, but actually when you try to do it all with little kids everyone just gets cranky. Oh... and bring your own little autograph books and pens for the kids to have the characters sign. If you buy them at Disneyland you are going to pay WAY too much and it's just a hardbound little notebook! You'll want to do this because the signatures are so cute. Also, I never realized until recently that it's OK to bring your own cooler in to the park! You can pack drinks and snacks and save a bundle!

    We like to get there right when the park opens (go to Nemo first because the line gets long SUPER fast) and then go back to the hotel for lunch and a short nap. :) Once you get back to the park you should have enough energy to make it through Fantasmic (completely worth sitting down early to get a good seat for). We LOVE this magical place. Have fun and make sure to post how it goes!
