On our way down to San Jose, we stopped by Stanford, picnicked in the Rodin sculpture garden, and visited the incredible, free Stanford Art Museum. I can't believe we'd never gone before. The kids ate it up, and I had to pry them out of there.
Having a casual summer picnic in front of Rodin's Gates of Hell. Hey, whatever works.
Our discovery museum membership let us do the San Jose tech museum in the same day. We kept it short but the kids still loved it.

Grandma's rock garden looking prettier than ever.
